East Broad Records is excited to unveil Love Lost, Love Found, the long-awaited debut solo studio album from Whit Whitley (they/them), on September 21, 2024. Whit, a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, as well as the founder of East Broad Records, takes listeners on a deeply emotional journey through the highs and lows of their personal life. From heartbreak to healing, Love Lost, Love Found is a musical memoir that offers a raw and honest portrayal of Whit’s divorce, recovery, and rediscovery of love.
This 12-track album features some of the industry’s finest producers, including Platinum record producer and Top 5 Billboard chart songwriter Barb Morrison on the powerful anthem “Love Is The Revolution,” Platinum producer Greg Critchley on the heartfelt track “Our Love Is Real,” and Grammy-nominated producer Andrew Sovine on the emotionally vulnerable “Midtown.”
Whit Whitley’s artistry shines through not only in their storytelling but also in their musicianship, with intimate acoustic performances planned for the album release show at Conduit Coffee in their hometown of Spring, Texas, on the day of the album’s release. The show will offer fans a unique opportunity to experience stripped-down versions of the songs, bringing a new level of vulnerability and connection to the live performance.
As a queer non-binary artist, Whit’s identity and personal experiences are woven into the fabric of Love Lost, Love Found, making it not only a musical experience but a powerful statement of resilience, authenticity, and hope. This album marks a significant moment in Whit’s career, as it is their first solo studio album and their first release under East Broad Records.
