Prolificators’ fourth album, Ego Was The Killer, will be released on April 26, 2024, through East Broad Records. This album marks a bold new direction for the band, as it’s their first project to incorporate vocal collaborations. Special guests Paul Kennedy, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Mimi Lê lend their voices to create an immersive, layered soundscape.
Paul Kennedy, a self-proclaimed sidewalk supervisor and photographer, provided the profound spoken words on the track “Transfer,” captured in a candid conversation. Parisa Fitz-Henley, known for her work in film and TV, joined the project after a chance meeting, leading to the ethereal “Transform,” a song about interconnected souls. Yoga teacher and creative spirit Mimi Lê brought her contemplative voice to the track “Timeless,” adding a touch of spiritual resonance to the album.
Prolificators’ founding members Olav and Rob, reflect on Ego Was The Killer as a sensory experience, encouraging listeners to dive deep into its many layers. This fourth release on East Broad Records is a sonic journey not to be missed.
